Full of Fabulous: Ongoing Shopping Guide

As a Canadian, shopping plus size fashion means navigating shipping rates and currency conversions. This is a guide to where I shop with some details that might be helpful.

Tips For Ordering Online

  1. Invest in a body or sewing measuring tape. I offer this tip with trepidation as I know for many of us, this might be triggering. I avoided and guessed for years but that also really limited my ability to shop or get the right fit. If you feel ready to take the dive and measure, this guide is helpful. Remember all companies will size different so look at the size guide for each article of clothing to get a sense of the fit.
  2. Use a currency convertor & check the shipping costs. Some websites will switch to the Canadian dollar for you but most won't so use the trusty Google to find out how deep your pockets really are! For shipping costs I will try to include those in my list and I've found most reasonable (around $20) but I've stumbled across a few that are down right outrageous so be warned!
  3. Sign up for those email lists! You will definitely get a lot of emails (I use a secondary email address) but buying during clearance sales, getting sign up discounts etc. make it worthwhile for me. I also sign up for rewards systems from my frequently shopped stores. I have saved thousands of dollars.
